How much does it cost to enter?
Entry fees are set through ChallengerMode at the start of each stage. First Strike pricing will be announced before May 14, 2026. Early-bird windows apply.

Who can enter the REAL Championship?
Anyone 18+ (or with guardian consent where allowed) with a verified gaming account on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC. One account per player. Open globally unless restricted by local law.

What exactly do we play?
Madden NFL 26 on All-Pro difficulty, 5–6 minute quarters, injuries off, fatigue on. 1v1 head-to-head. Best-of-1 in qualifiers, Best-of-3 in finals.

How do I advance to the next stage?
Leaderboard-based. The top 20 players at each stage advance to the next. You can also stack guaranteed earnings through Bounties ($250/stage), Win Streaks (up to $5,000), and Referrals ($1 per qualified player).

Is the $1,000,000 guaranteed?
No. The Championship pool is a growing pool that can reach up to $1,000,000 based on participation, entry fees, and event growth. Whatever the pool reaches at the time of the event is what gets distributed — subject to official rules. The guaranteed earn mechanics (Bounties, Streaks, Referrals) are contractual and pay out regardless.

When and how do I get paid?
Stage prizes pay out after each stage's close. The Championship pool distributes after the Final Crown on Feb 14, 2027. Payments run through ChallengerMode's payout infrastructure.

Do I have to travel to Fresno to compete?
No. All qualifying stages are online. Only the Final Crown (Feb 14, 2027) is played live at the PM Lounge, Fresno. Top finalists are invited in-person; travel details are communicated after The Vault stage closes.

No. REAL is an independent championship running on ChallengerMode — the same tournament infrastructure EA uses for the official Madden Championship Series. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by EA Sports.
